Purchase

  • Q: How do I qualify for the program?
    Answer: You will need to purchase your new and unused eligible 2008 and 2009 model year Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep vehicle (excluding all SRTs, Dodge Sprinter, Viper, Ram Chassis Cab, Dodge Challenger, Chrysler Crossfire, and Jeep Wrangler) between May 7, 2008, and June 2, 2008. In addition, you will need to have an active Visa or MasterCard credit card account.
  • Q. What vehicles are eligible?
    Answer: All new and unused 2008 and 2009 model year vehicles excluding all SRTs, Dodge Sprinter, Viper, Ram Chassis Cab, Dodge Challenger, Chrysler Crossfire, and Jeep Wrangler.
  • Q. What types of sales are eligible?
    Answer: Retail purchases and leases are included in this program.
  • Q. When do I need to purchase my vehicle?
    Answer: You will need to purchase your new and unused eligible Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle from May 7, 2008, through June 2, 2008.
  • Q. How do I know that this will save me money?
    Answer: The $2.99 Gas Guarantee will save you money because you are guaranteed to never pay more than $2.99 per gallon on qualified fuel purchases for the next three years, within an annual limit of 12,000 miles. You will be protected against the fluctuating fuel prices.

Program Enrollment

  • Q. What is a VIN?
    Answer: A VIN is a Vehicle Identification Number. It is a 17-digit number used to uniquely identify motor vehicles.
  • Q. How do I find my VIN?
    Answer: You can find the VIN on the dashboard in the bottom driver’s side corner of the windshield or your vehicle registration.
  • Q. Do I need to have a credit card to participate in the program?
    Answer: Yes, an active Visa or Master Card credit card is required to participate in the “Let’ s Refuel America” program.
  • Q. Why do I have to give you my Credit Card information?
    Answer: Your credit card information is required so that the $2.99 fuel purchases can be charged to your designated Visa or MasterCard credit card account.
  • Q. Can I use a Debit Card for my “Let’s Refuel America” account ?
    Answer: No, your “Let’s Refuel America” card must be connected to an active Visa or MasterCard credit card account.
  • Q. How do I know my personal financial information is safe?
    Answer: Our call center and data center adhere to strict security provisions and are licensed and bonded. Also, our call centers meet all government security compliance requirements.
  • Q. Are there going to be any security questions to log into your account?
    Answer: On initial enrollment, there will be two user selected security questions assigned to the account. The security questions are designed to further protect the customer’s account information and are required to make changes on the account. Customers will be able to select from a set of 10 questions which security questions they wish to assign to their profile.
  • Q. Is there a deadline for enrollment into the program?
    Answer: Yes, all customers must enroll via the web at http://refuelamerica.pricelock.com or the Enrollment hotline at 800-866-4656 by July 31, 2008.
  • Q. How long will it take to get my card?
    Answer: It will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks to receive your “Let’s Refuel America” card after enrollment.
  • Q. Can I designate the shipping address for my car d?
    Answer: For security purposes, the card must be shipped to the billing address of the designated Visa or Master Card account owner. If you have any additional questions regarding the shipping of your “Let’s Refuel America” card, please call the enrollment hotline at 800-866-4656.
  • Q. How do I confirm my enrollment in the “Let’s Refuel America” Program?
    Answer: Following online or phone enrollment, please allow 4-6 weeks for card delivery or contact “Let’s Refuel America” Enrollment hotline at 800-866-4656.
  • Q. Where do I find assistance if I am having trouble enrolling?
    Answer: You can call the “Let’s Refuel America” Enrollment hotline at 800-866-4656.

Account Management

  • Q. How do I ensure that my card is ready to use?
    Answer: When your card arrives, you will receive details in your Welcome Package that will include card usage guidelines, rules, and account set up instructions. You will also receive a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in the mail approximately two days after you receive your card. Once you have received your card and set up your account and PIN, you can start using your card at any “Let’s Refuel America”/Voyager affiliated gas stations covering approximately 97 percent of all gas stations in the United States.
  • Q. What i s a PI N?
    Answer: A PIN is a 4-digit Personal Identification Number. You can use any 4-digit number you would like.
  • Q. Are there any fees for my online account?
    Answer: No
  • Q. Can I transfer the account to another name?
    Answer: The “Let’s Refuel America” account must be registered in the name of the individual who purchased the vehicle.
  • Q. Can I add other authorized users to my account?
    Answer: No, only one name can be on the account and it must remain in the name of the individual who purchased the vehicle.
  • Q. Can I create more than one log-in for my account?
    Answer: No.
  • Q. Can I vi ew my account by wi r el ess phone?
    Answer: Yes, if you a have a wireless phone than can load standard Web pages.
  • Q. How do I view my statement if I don’t have online access?
    Answer: You will receive a printed copy of your statement each month in the mail.
  • Q. How can I reconcile my “Let’s Refuel America” statement with my credit card statement?
    Answer: Line item transactions from your credit card statement should match by date and price with the “Let’s Refuel America” account. The “Let’s Refuel America” report will also show the calculations and savings for each of the transactions made on the fuel card.
  • Q. Can I access my account information from outside the United States?
    Answer: You can access your online account information from anywhere that has web access.
  • Q. Do I need to renew my account at anytime?
    Answer: No, once you enroll, the “Let’s Refuel America” program lasts for at least 36 months and you will not need to renew at any time.
  • Q. What if I sell my car within the three-year period? Will the card continue to work?
    Answer: You can continue to use the card for the entire three-year period for gas purchases on any vehicle within the fuel eligibility guidelines (i.e. if your “Let’s Refuel America” card was issued for a diesel vehicle, you can not change the fuel type eligibility of the card with subsequent vehicle pur chases. A diesel card will only allow diesel fuel purchases regardless of the next type of vehicle purchased). You do not need to transfer the card with the ownership of the vehicle. The original purchaser retains the card for the full term of the program.

Card Usage

  • Q. What types of fuel may I purchase with my card?
    Answer:
    • If your vehicle uses unleaded gas, the $2.99 offer covers 86 to 87 octane only.
    • If your vehicle can use E85, the $2.99 offer will cover E85 and up to 87 octane gasoline only.
    • If your vehicle requires diesel fuel, the $2.99 offer will cover diesel fuel only.
    Please note:
    For unl eaded gas car ds: If mi d-grade or premium unleaded fuel is purchased, the customer will be billed for the $2.99 plus $.15 per gallon for mid-grade (88 to 89 octane) or plus $.30 for premi um (90 to 94 octane). All other grades of fuel higher then 94 octane are not covered under this program and the full pump price will be billed through to the customer plus a $2 service fee per transaction with no gallon usage penalty.

    For diesel fuels cards: If customer purchases unleaded gas (including E85) on a diesel card or diesel fuel on an unleaded card, the customer will be billed the full pump price plus a $2 service fee per transaction with no gallon usage penalty.
  • Q. How do I know if t he pump i s char gi ng me $2. 99?
    Answer: When you pur chase your gas, the charge will appear on your receipt for the full retail pump price. In most cases, your purchase will appear online in your account statement showing your “Let’ s Refuel America” adjusted price within 72 hours. Your account statement will list the retail price at the pump where you purchased the gas, the $2.99 per gall on you will be char ged on your designated Visa or Master Card, and the amount you will be saving after the price adjustment. You will also receive a copy of your statement in the mail.
  • Q. Do I have to swipe my credit card with my “Let’s Refuel America” card?
    Answer: No, you only need to swipe your “Let’s Refuel America” card at the pump.
  • Q. Can I use the card inside the gas station?
    Answer: Yes, but remember this card can be used for fuel purchases only.
  • Q. Can I purchase fuel at a marina?
    Answer: No, fuel purchases at marinas are not eligible in the “Let’s Refuel America” program.
  • Q. Can I purchase non-fuel items with my “Let’s Refuel America” card?
    Answer: No, the “Let’s Refuel America” card is for fuel-only purchases.
  • Q. Is there a maximum number of gallons that I am allotted in a year?
    - Answer: Yes, you will be allotted one third of the total allotted gallons for the entire program period each year. Please reference the vehicle matrix to view the fuel allotment.
  • Q. When are the expiration dates for the annual gallon allotment?
    Answer: Your card’s yearly gallon allotment expiration schedule is
    • 1st year expiration date 7-31-2009
    • 2nd year expiration date 7-31-2010
    • 3rd year expiration date 7-31-2011
  • Q: What happens if I use my card at a non-participating gas station?
    Answer: The card will not be accepted.
  • Q. Is there any way to get the $2.99 price if I don’t have my card with me?
    Answer: No. You will need to have the card to swipe at the pump or station.
  • Q. Will my card work outside the United States?
    Answer: No, the “Let’s Refuel America” card will only work at gas stations within the United States.
  • Q. How do I prevent unauthorized users from using my card?
    Answer: Treat this card as any other credit card. It can only be used when swiped at the pump. In addition you will have a private PIN to use with your card at the pump.
  • Q. Can I allow other people to use my card?
    Answer: Yes. You can give the card to anyone to use for purchasing fuel; however there is an annual limit to the number of gallons that can be purchased on each card.
  • Q. Is this card transfer able?
    Answer: The card is not transferable.
  • Q. What will I be charged if the price of gas is below $2.99 per gallon?
    Answer: If you use your “Let’s Refuel America” card you will be charged the lower amount.
  • Q. Are there any fees associated with my card?
    Answer: No, there are no charges for card use within the program parameters. There will be a $25 reinstatement fee if a replacement credit card is needed due to the original credit card being cancelled, over the limit, or dishonored.
  • Q. If I purchase gas below $2.99 with my card, will the transaction count against my annual limit of gallons purchased?
    - Answer: Yes, if you purchase gas with your “Let’s Refuel America” card for less than $2.99/gallon it will count toward your gallon allotment
  • Q. What happens if I exceed my annual limit ?
    Answer: Your card will become temporarily inactive until your yearly allotment renewal.
  • Q: Should I destroy my card if I have used my yearly allotment?
    Answer: No, you should not destroy your card. You should keep your card to use again when your yearly allotment is renewed.
  • Q. Will unused gallons rollover to the next year?
    Answer: No, there is no rollover of unused gallons from any time period.
  • Q. Do I have to use the card with the Chrysler vehicle that was purchased?
    Answer: No, although this card is intended to be used with the Chrysler vehicle that you purchased, you can purchase fuel for any vehicle provided you use the same grade of fuel allowed on your card.
  • Q. When does my card expire?
    Answer: Your card will expire on July 31, 2011.

Troubleshooting

  • Q. What should I do if I haven't received my card?
    Answer: If you have not received your card in 4-6 weeks, please contact “Let’s Refuel America” Enrollment hotline at 800-866-4656.
  • Q. What if I have forgotten the security password required for my account?
    Answer: If you have forgotten your password, you can change it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.
